On Thursday 5 November 2026 there will be a staff assembly, from 1 p.m to 3 p.m, which may result in some closed galleries. The Museum guarantees, in any case, the opening of the ground-floor galleries (Farnese sculptures and gems, and Campania in the Roman Period) and the Egyptian collection.
The Mosaic section and Secret Cabinet are colsed to the public for refurbishment, until further notice.
Mercoledì 5 novembre 2026 è indetta un'assemblea del personale dalle ore 13.00 alle ore 15.00, che potrebbe causare disagi alla fruizione. Il Museo garantisce, in ogni caso, l'apertura al pubblico delle sezioni del pian terreno (Sculture e Gemme Farnese, Campania romana) e la sezione Egizia.
Le sezioni Mosaici e Gabinetto Segreto resteranno chiuse al pubblico fino a nuova comunicazione per lavori di riallestimento.
