MANNight is the new event to make the museum come alive during special late openings, featuring reduced tickets, Living Art, DJ sets, music, and interactive performances.
Music, dance, multimedia installations, tableaux vivants, body painting, and DJ sets define “MANNight: extraordinary openings. The future meets the past,”, a new series of night events running from 3 September to 22 October, 2026. Over these eight evenings, the MANN invites the public to experience and discover archaeology in a new perspective – through music and the languages of contemporary art – on a journey of memories and new explorations, where past, present, and future converge. From 20.30, short performances will take place simultaneously at regular intervals across the museum’s various collections. Designed in collaboration with Casa del Contemporaneo produzioni teatrali and La Santissima Community Hub, the project stems from a fusion of artistic genres, aimed at involving the public – ranging from body painting to digital art – as visitors see their emotions transformed into marks, sounds, and drawings. The program also highlights dance and music, featuring everything from tribal percussion to a string quartet blending classical and pop harmonies. Each evening, a “Docubeat” created by Club Tasso will reinterpret the museum’s heritage through an innovative audio-visual collage, mixing musical genres with the voices of visitors and MANN’s workers. A musical backdrop – provided by DJ stations both inside and outside the museum – and garden aperitifs will tie the events together; the garden will also serve as the gathering point for all the artists for a final “curtain call” and a moment of shared celebration. Thursdays, 3, 10 and 17 September 2026 Saturday, 26 September 2026 – European Heritage Days Thursdays, 1, 8, 15 and 22 October 2026
