Galleries open to the public every day<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Egyptian, Gems, Roman Campania, Mosaics, Secret Cabinet, Objects of Daily Life from the Vesuvian Area, Domus (furnishings from Pompeii), Frescoes, Temple of Isis galleries and\u00a0the exhibition \u201cParthenope. The Siren and the city\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sections open on a rotation basis:
\n<\/strong><\/span>Numismatics and Goldsmiths section open every day:
\n<\/span>Monday, Thursday and Saturday: AFTERNOON (2.30 pm – 6.30 pm)<\/span>
\nWednesday, Friday and Sunday: MORNING (9.30am – 1.30 pm)<\/span><\/p>\n

It is <\/span>not guaranteed<\/strong> that Prehistory and Protohistory, Island of Ischia, Piana Campan, Magna Graecia and Scale model of Pompeii galleries will be open every day: visitors are invited to ask information at the ticket office before buying the ticket.<\/span><\/p>\n

For safety reasons on Free Admission Days<\/strong> Secret room, Egyptian and Magna Graecia galleries are closed to the public<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n[\/vc_column_text]

The Farnese sculptures section will be closed to the public until further notice. Access to the Farnese Gems section will, however, be guaranteed.<\/p>\n

In the framework of the project \u201cThe MANN and the environment: energy efficiency works for a sustanaible museum\u201d, funded by the Next Generation EU programme \u201cPNRR\u201d, the Farnese collection is undergoing a serie of works aimed at improving the lighting system, in terms of energy saving and emphasis on the artefacts on the display. We apologize for the inconvenience, still we believe in a more and more welcoming museum, able to cope with today\u2019s challenges: in order to do all this, we need also your help![\/vc_message][vc_message message_box_color=”orange” css=””]Galleries currently closed to the public for refurbishment<\/strong>:
