From 25 May 2026 until 31 december, <\/strong>the Numismatics and Goldsmiths section<\/strong> will be open every day on a rotational basis:<\/span><\/p>\n

Monday, Thursday and Saturday: AFTERNOON (2.30 pm – 6.30 pm)<\/span>
\nWednesday, Friday and Sunday: MORNING (9.30am – 1.30 pm)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

From 24 April to 31 May 2026 <\/span>Prehistory and Protohistory, Island of Ischia, Piana Campana and Magna Graecia galleries<\/strong>, according to the following weekly schedule:<\/span><\/p>\n

This schedule refers to the minimum guaranteed opening hours.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the 3rd of April 2026 the exhibition \u201cParthenope. The Siren and the city<\/strong><\/em>\u201d will open to the public. \u2013 The exhibition focuses on the long relationship of the Siren Parthenope with the city of Naples.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n[\/vc_column_text]

The Farnese sculptures section will be closed to the public until further notice. Access to the Farnese Gems section will, however, be guaranteed.<\/p>\n

In the framework of the project \u201cThe MANN and the environment: energy efficiency works for a sustanaible museum\u201d, funded by the Next Generation EU programme \u201cPNRR\u201d, the Farnese collection is undergoing a serie of works aimed at improving the lighting system, in terms of energy saving and emphasis on the artefacts on the display. We apologize for the inconvenience, still we believe in a more and more welcoming museum, able to cope with today\u2019s challenges: in order to do all this, we need also your help![\/vc_message][vc_message message_box_color=”orange” css=””]Galleries closed to the public for safety reasons on Free Admission Days<\/strong>:<\/p>\n
