As usual, on Thursday evening the MANN opens its doors to those people who are very fond of music.
On 4th August next, at 9.00 p.m., the National Archeological Museum of Naples will house the jazz concert “Nuance”.
It is a music project that sees side by side the singer Elisabetta Antonini and the harpist Marcella Carboni.
An unusual duo: Marcella Carboni is a rare and unique jazz harpist who, after the classical studies commonly connected with this instrument, has devoted herself to develop both composition and interpretation.
Elisabetta Antonini, a jazz singer of great experience, who has musically developed between the USA and Italy under the guidance of precious contemporary jazz musicians, from Norma Winstone to Maria Pia De Vito and to Murphy, Harris and Bob Stoloff.
The experiment of the new duo arises from a meeting at Nuoro Jazz through Angelo Palmas and Paolo Fresu: “Nuance” is the result of an unbounded experimentation and a deep mutual understanding between the two musicians, who are able to play in total harmony and to highlight their single skills.
“Nuance” consists of eleven pieces that range from the classics of Guinga and Jobim to Antonini’s poetical pieces and to the genuine jazz of “Lazy Afternoon”.
Admission to the Museum from 9.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m.
Ticket price: Euro 2,00.
