A new event dedicated to history, good food and lovely music. On July 7th, within the exhibition “Giovedì sera al MANN. Le Arti in giardino tra mito e natura”, the Museum will offer the public the opportunity to experience before a tasting trip and then music.

The event will begin at 7.00 p.m. with “Il Gran Food” by Elisabetta Donadio, a tasting reading during which the audience will taste an ancient dish, denominated “Granata”, cooked according to the original recipe. Its origin dates back to the 17th century and it has been chosen because the foundation stone of the National Archeological Museum was laid in the 17th century.

Then the Garden of Camellias (Giardino delle Camelie) will become the stage for the jazz concert by the duo “Two Late” made up of Alberto Gurrisi (on organ) and Laura Klain (on drums).
“Two Late” is a duo that comes from the heart of the rhythm section of a typical ensemble soul jazz with Hammond organ.
With the accompaniment of the only drums, the organ is both a solo instrument and a rhythmic-harmonic accompanist; the very rich and dynamic resulting sound ranges from the more mainstream jazz to the ‘60s and ‘70s funky rhythms. Groove and dynamic facets, constant elements of their music, make the duo of great sound and emotional impact.

Entrance to the Museum: from 7.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m.

Price of admittance ticket: Euro 2,00
