From July 27th the MANN, in the Hall of the Starry Ceiling (Sala del Soffitto Stellato), will house the exhibition “Beyond what is visible. The Campi Flegrei”, curated by Mrs Rossana Valenti, teacher at the Department of Classical Studies of the University “Federico II” of Naples. The exhibition is part of the research project SNEC (Social Network delle Entità dei Centri Storici) coordinated by Databenc (Distretto di Alta Tecnologia per I Beni Culturali).
The exhibition documents the literary tradition related to the Campi Flegrei; it will be possible to admire both texts and sculptures coming from Campi Flegrei, volumes of the Library, documents of the Historical Archives and pictures of the Phographic Archives, which testify the vast cultural heritage of the Campi Flegrei.
Thanks to the most modern technological devices arranged along the route, visitors will have the possibility of using interactive and personalized multimedia instruments concerning different communication registers – texts, films, pictures and sounds – that, besides creating a suggestive and involving atmoshere, will allow them to choose the receptive modality more suitable for their interests.
