MANN | National Archeological Museum of Naples
On exhibition from November 9th to November 28th
Meeting with the artist and presentation of the catalogue
On November 24th, 2016 at 5.00 p.m.
The project provides for the exhibition of 35 ceramic or bronze vases on as many pedestals placed in the suggestive spaces of the first floor of the museum. An exceptional place that makes the exhibition even more representative as it emphasizes the whole characteristic of the project, a serial work in which the artistic technique and the used materials are the result of a deep reflection impregnated with ancient references.
Nicola Ravelli’s artistic production originates from the will to represent, by using the ancient sculptural technique, the truth of the human condition in its wholeness, the existence of the binomial good/evil and their proceeding on side by side in everybody’s life.
