““Behind the scenes. Live restoration”
Curated by the Preservation and Restoration Laboratory of the Museum
The restorers will receive the visitors in the Preservation and Restoration Laboratory of the National Archeological Museum of Naples, inside the Sections where the different activities (stony materials, wall paintings and mosaics, ceramics and metals) are performed, and they will explain the methodologies and the techniques of restoration through examples of interventions carried out or under implementation. In this way, the visitors will be able to know the hard work, which is behind restoration, and the qualified skills necessary to carry out it.
